The scandal of prisoner lawsuits
Article Abstract:
Lawsuits filed by prisoners are often petty grievances that are only a waste of hours and taxpayers' money. State and federal legislation can effect major reforms that will stop costly prisoner litigation, such as imposing filing fee and other court costs that have been waived for prisoners, implementing restitution and sanctions against bogus lawsuits.
