A three-input model of spatial effects of a central-city wage tax
Article Abstract:
The long run and short run spatial effects of localized wage tax or income tax changes on wages, employment and business capital as functions of location are studied. The enclosure of land as a third input in production significantly reduces the long-run effects of a central-city wage tax on employment near the central-city boundary.
