Comorbidities and the willingness to pay for health improvements
Article Abstract:
Severity and probability of occurrence of comorbidities increases the willingness to pay(WTP) for health improvements. Old people are more likely to develop comorbidities, the effect of comorbidities on WTP tends to compensate for the fall in WTP associated with increased age.
