From club to blog: the changing world of the political reporter
Article Abstract:
The drastic change in political reporting in the US, particularly the reporting of state government news, is reflected upon during the 2003 California recall. The impact of the Internet as well as the appearance of Arnold Schwarznegger on different nationally broadcast television shows, both of which reduced public reliance on a small corps of reporters for political news, is analyzed.
