Integration drives globalization effort
Article Abstract:
Security service providers and product manufacturers are in the process of integrating their operations in an effort to take advantage of an emerging global market. The trend, which started with the purchase by US alarm companies of a number of European firms, is seen as a reminder of the importance of systems integration as well as a global presence. The trend is a reaction to the perceived preference of corporate security for suppliers with a strong market reach.
