Article Abstract:
The University of California campuses enroll more number of underprivileged students and immigrants or those who need remedial work to get to the main stream of the educational ladder. Francesco Hernandez, the vice chancellor of the university of California, Santa Cruz, believes that for the state's economic recovery these students should be given the opportunity to attend colleges.
