Family coverage expansions: impact on insurance coverage and health care utilization of parents
Article Abstract:
A study analyzing the effectiveness of the state government rules relating to the income eligibility limits for health care insurance of low-income parents is presented. The study also examines the benefits from some of the changes implemented by the states related to Medicaid and State Child Health Insurance Programs.

The demand for dependant health insurance: How important is the cost of family coverage?

A substitution to employment based insurance was provided by Medicaid for low income families. In household's demand for employment based family coverage, the role of expanded Medicaid eligibility and out-of-pocket premiums is examined.
