Hospital economic forecast: new trend index looks two years ahead
Article Abstract:
Hospital economic forecasts from the American Hospital Publishing Inc. and Merrill Lynch Economics Inc. project hospital inflation expenses that will increase at a somewhat slower pace through 1983. No improvement is seen for 1984. Overall the bite of inflation will be less for those components that are not directly linked to developments in health care.
