Supply-side cost sharing when patients and doctors collude
Article Abstract:
The Collusion between doctors and patients, who are not symmetrically informed, has been construed as a formal physician balance billing, which in turn poses a problem for the purchasers of health-care. Therefore the policy-makers, keeping this collusion in mind, cannot focus solely on the benefits of the doctors from the purchasers, but must alongside consider the doctor patient contract.
