Article Abstract:
The clashes between the HIV and tuberculosis (TB) communities are undermining the crisis in Africa and elsewhere. The HIV-TB crisis has compelled the World Health Organization (WHO) to recommend the integration of TB and HIV program, HIV testing for those infected with TB and preventive TB drugs for HIV-positive people.

Evidence for a tumoral immune resistance mechanism based on tryptophan degradation by indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase
Article Abstract:
Results show that indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) participates in the low tryptophan mediated arrest of T lymphocyte proliferation, suggesting that administration of an IDO inhibitor improves the efficacy of therapeutic vaccination for cancer.
