A comparison of albumin and saline for fluid resuscitation in the intensive care unit
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted, with a multicenter, randomized and double-blind trial, to compare the effect of fluid resuscitation with albumin or saline on mortality in a heterogeneous population of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). The result reveals 726 deaths in the albumin group and 729 deaths in the saline group.

The first diagnosis report of a 68-year-old woman with diabetes mellitus is presented. Analyzing the report, the rare disorder of emphysematous cystitis was found, which results from infection of the bladder by gas-forming organisms.

Is albumin safe?
Article Abstract:
The recent studies in Australia and New Zealand revealed that albumin could increase the risk of death. But generic packaging and formal testing already ensured and approved the binding of the patients, clinicians, and researchers.
