A mission to heal
Article Abstract:
UK medical charity Merlin trains nurses to be volunteer aid workers in some of the most dangerous and poverty stricken areas of the world. Nurses are trained to deal with complex medical dilemmas which may face them in their future work, such as vaccination campaigns and working in disaster areas. Many nurses see aid work as an opportunity to better equip themselves in key skill areas while making a difference to people's lives.

Safety is of the essence
Article Abstract:
The nursing profession is concerned about the way essential oils are being used because some oils are very strong and the public is not being given adequate information about safe dosages. Aromatherapists are angry that labels on products do not give users enough information about the contents or how to use them. The public is advised to consult a trained aromatherapist about any products they are interested in trying.
