A patient group with complex needs
Article Abstract:
Good rehabilitation can help recovering mentally ill people to move out of long-term psychiatric care into more independent settings or the community, and can also prevent 'revolving door' situations in which patients are repeatedly admitted to acute settings. Delfryn House, Mold, North Wales in one such independent psychiatric rehabilitation hospital provides rehabilitation for men aged 18-65 years who have a primary diagnosis of mental illness and no longer need high security care.
