A service evaluation can help you satisfy patients
Article Abstract:
Physicians can evaluate their practices by sending in someone to pose as a patient who will judge the care he or she receives. All physicians should seek a health care service evaluation to improve the quality of their practice. The physician's hospital can send an evaluator; the person, who will be anonymous, should be supplied with a list of questions the physician would like answered about the practice. Ideally, the physician should hire an outside evaluation service which will send an evaluator specially trained for the task.

'Cost consciousness' can produce big overhead savings
Article Abstract:
Many physicians could reduce their costs by being more aggressive when it comes to overhead, such as supplies purchases. Getting competitive bids on items can reveal available savings. Ordering far in advance can also produce savings. Unemployment payouts can be reduced through aggressive disputing of any claims being processed. Employee health deductibles should also be raised as much as the physician can get away with, in order to make more money himself.

Listen, involve patient for better drug compliance
Article Abstract:
Low rates of patient compliance with physicians' drug prescriptions are a chief cause of subsequent patient health problems and may lead to substandard performance evaluations of physicians by the health organizations they work for. By listening attentively to patients and making them feel involved in the diagnostic and prescription processes, physicians can curb the extent of patient non-compliance.
