Acetyl L-carnitine
Article Abstract:
Studies show that acetyl l-carnitine can stop the growth of subcutaneous fat cells in rats which may help bodybuilders stay lean. Male rats given acetyl l-carnitine from 4-8 months of age showed a 7.7% drop in subcutaneous fat cell diameter and had the same size of fat cells at 16 months of age.
