Adherence to guidelines for antiretroviral therapy and for preventing opportunistic infections in HIV-infected adults and adolescents in Ryan White-funded facilities in the United States

A microchip approach for practical label-free CD[4.sup.+] T-cell counting of HIV-infected subjects in resource-poor settings
Article Abstract:
A simple, label-free and cost-effective CD4 cell counting device is designed by using microfluidic technology to address the limitations of current approaches. It is observed that the device serves as a functional cartridge for fast, accurate, affordable and simple CD4 cell counting in resource-limited settings.
