Article Abstract:
Two recent books examine the role media play in shaping kids' behavior-and reach different conclusions. Karen Sternheimer, Ph.D., a professor who teaches in the sociology department at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and James P. Steyer, a former children's TV producer, creator of Disney Channel express their viewpoints regarding the sexuality, violence and profanity bursting forth in children.

Laura Nash, a senior lecturer at Harvard business school speaks on her book 'Just Enough: Tools for Creating Success in Your Work and Life' teaching people to avoid the achievement trap, attain real happiness, and pass the same culture to their kids. The research she went through indicates that the executives at the top levels in their professions often discover their success is not meaningful enough.
