Decreased platelet aggregation, increased bleeding time and resistance to thromboembolism in P2Y(sub)1-deficient mice
Article Abstract:
The purinoceptor P2Y(sub)1 is involved in platelet aggregation but there may be another receptor on platelets that also binds ATP/ADP. Purinoceptors are cell receptors that bind nucleotides and nucleosides.
