Aura photography: mundane physics or diagnostic tool?
Article Abstract:
Kirlian photography, or corona discharge, is claimed to show the aura of the human form and is said to record the psychic state of individuals. However, studies have shown that the Kirlian effect is caused by light formed by electrically energized gases re-emitting energy. A Kirlian apparatus is described and a detailed evaluation of the phenomenon is presented.
