Bodybuilding champion Stephan Hartl uses just one or two exercises when training his back. Hartl, who trains his back up to four times a week, recommends chin-up or wide-grip pull-downs, seated cable rows, close-grip pull-downs, one-arm dumbbell rows and T-bar rows for building the back.
