Trends in HIV seroprevalence and needle sharing among Puerto Rican drug injectors in Puerto Rico and New York: 1992-1999
Article Abstract:
Many intravenous drug users are no longer sharing needles and this has led to a decrease in the incidence of HIV infection in this group. This was the conclusion of researchers who studied intravenous drug users in New York and Puerto Rico. Drug users in Puerto Rico were more likely to share needles than those in New York.
