Bodybuilding can help normalize blood pressure, contrary to the popular belief that it increases resting and exercise blood pressure beyond normal levels. Empirical studies show that weight training does not affect resting blood pressure and lower peak pressures during lifting movements.

Computerized exercise machines are now available which can store training information and design the best possible training programs for individuals. Two of these equipment are now available from Ariel LifeSystems Inc, the CES 5000 Arm-Leg and the CES 5000 Multi-Function machines.
