Article Abstract:
The war in Bosnia harmed the physical and mental health of both the military and civilian populations. More than half of the people were forced from their homes and faced the health problems that are typical in refugee centers. Sexual violence was another health concern.

International Centre for Migration and Health

The International Centre for Migration and Health (ICMH) in Geneva, Switzerland was established to evaluate the health effects of involuntary migration. ICMH also works with agencies and nations to devise policies to provide for the health needs of migrants.

Supervising TB treatment
Article Abstract:
The homeless, refugees and migrant workers have a high risk for tuberculosis and require supervised TB treatment. The World Health Organization advocates a 6-8 month strategy called 'directly observed treatment, short course.'
