Breathing easier with breast milk
Article Abstract:
A mouse model is employed to determine the various maternal factors present in breast milk that helps in protecting the child from asthma and several other allergies. The analysis reveals that the induction of the regulatory T cells after the ingestion of allergen and TGF-[beta] in breast milk often inhibits the development of breathing disorders in the offspring.

Breast milk-mediated transfer of an antigen induces tolerance and protection from allergic asthma
Article Abstract:
The impact of the exposure of a lactating mother to an airborne allergen on the development of asthma in the offspring is discussed. Results prove that the transfer of an antigen via breast milk induces tolerance and protection from allergic asthma and other airway diseases in the baby.

Opening the gateway to tumors
Article Abstract:
A new approach for boosting the T cell migration in cancer patients by the generation of specific lymphocytes is discussed. The study shows that the controlled trafficking of T lymphocytes can easily be used for destroying tumors.
