Radiation and mortality of workers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory: positive associations for doses received at older ages
Article Abstract:
Low-level exposure to external ionizing radiation was positively associated with mortality in a study of workers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with a greater effect for doses received after the age of 45. All cancer mortality, lung cancer, nonmalignant respiratory disease, and ischemic heart disease are discussed.

Air pollution and daily mortality rates in Seoul and Ulsan, Korea between 1991-1995 were examined. Increased mortality rates linked to air pollution were reported.
