Clues to gene activity in inflammation found
Article Abstract:
DNA microarray tests that reveal patterns of gene activity show potential for a better understanding of human responses to injury and infection. Therapeutic interventions suggest that gene expression patterns could help reveal underlying regulatory mechanisms of the inflammatory response, and might allow physicians to adapt therapies specifically for individual patients.

Progress in antisense technology

The antisense technology is proved to be a good method for gene fictionalization and target validation. The features of newly developed antisense drugs for the treatment of a wide range of diseases are presented.
