Correlation of measured amnionic fluid volume to sonographic and magnetic resonance predictions
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to compare the relationship between the actual amnionic fluid volume that was measured at delivery and magnetic resonance amnionic fluid volume determination, largest vertical pocket, and amnionic fluid index. It was concluded that magnetic resonance imaging is comparable with ultrasound evaluation for the prediction of oligohydramnios.

Increased cerebral blood flow in preeclampsia with magnetic resonance imaging
Article Abstract:
Third trimester and non pregnant cerebral blood flow of women with preeclampsia was compared to normotensive control subjects with the use of magnetic resonance imaging techniques. It was observed that cerebral blood flow increased significantly in preeclampsia that could ultimately lead to eclampsia through hyperfusion and development of vasogenic edema.

Evaluation of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels in normal and preeclamptic women
Article Abstract:
B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels were evaluated for determining trends during pregnancy and diagnosing preeclampsia. BNP levels were found to be elevated in severe preeclampsia, while median BNP values of <20 pg/mL which were stable throughout gestation were observed in normal pregnancies.
