Counselling people with HIV about pregnancy
Article Abstract:
People with the HIV virus are living longer due to better drugs and treatments, and some may want to have children. If an uninfected woman has sex with an infected partner she may contract the disease, so using doner sperm may be advised. An uninfected male can provide a sperm sample for an infected woman rather than risk sexual intercourse. If both partners are infected than they need to consider who will care for the child if they become ill. There is also the risk of passing the disease on to the child. Both partners need advice from experts before reaching any decisions.

Travel light
Article Abstract:
To get awarded a scholarship to study abroad it is important to be interested in the country that will be visited and that the purpose of the visit is clear. Plan an itinerary beforehand, and arrange dates, places to go, finances, and where to stay. Read about the culture and customs of the country and be careful not to offend their religious beliefs. Prepare a talk about one's own nursing experiences in Britain but do not imply that British methods are preferable to those of the host country. Prepare a report about the visit to send to the sponsor on your return.
