Deletion of cytosolic phospholipase A2 promotes striated muscle growth
Article Abstract:
The fundamental role played by cytosolic phospholipase A2 (PLA2) in regulation of cellular homeostasis, inflammation and tumorigenises is illustrated. Negative regulation of normal growth of striated muscle, stress-induced hypertrophic growth of the heart and IGF-1 signaling are the three new functions of cytosolic PLA2.

Genetic clues to the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease
Article Abstract:
There is an explosion in the rate of discovery of genetic defects linked to Parkinson's disease. Although these breakthroughs have not provided a direct explanation for the disease process, they have helped transform Parkinson's disease research by providing tangible clues to the neurobiology of the disorder.

Advantage of rare HLA supertype in HIV disease progression
Article Abstract:
The effect of Human Leukocyte Antigen(HLA) to determine the specificity and repertory of immune responses in progression with HIV disease is illustrated. Statistical analysis is carried out to test the strength of HLA association with nonparamatic Wilcoxon rank.
