Doctor-backed bill seeks to help uninsured
Article Abstract:
A doctor-backed comprehensive bill to help uninsured Americans get health coverage combines popular proposals and builds on existing programs. Sen. Jeff Bingaman introduced the Health Coverage, Affordability, Responsibility and Equity Act (Health CARE Act) on 8th May 2003, by that incorporated couples and languages laid by the American College of Physicians in a proposal to have all Americans covered within seven years.
