Educating dental staff members for optimum patient service
Article Abstract:
Brief in-service educational sessions are the most effective way to teach dental staff new procedures and concepts. These could be held once or twice a month and should be no longer than 30 to 45 minutes. Sometimes an experienced staff member can function as the teacher. On-the-job training is always appropriate for new members and even experienced members who are learning a new task. Continuing education courses and journal articles may also be useful.
