Epidemiologic and clinical features of HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected Ugandian children younger than 18 months
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected Ugandian infants younger and older than 18 months old. The comparison of the two groups has been made to identify clinical features differentiating the groups, and the features common in HIV-infected children older than 18 months are bacille Calmette-Guerin vaccination scar, parotid enlargement, dermatitis and chronic diarrhea.

Failure of a short-term prednisone regimen to prevent nevirapine-associated rash: a double-blind placebo-controlled trial: the GESIDA 09/00 study
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on side effects associated with nevirapine. The efficacy of prednisone in nevirapine-induced rash prevention has been investigated via the use of double-blind placebo and the results demonstrate that prednisone administration does not prevent nevirapine rash but increases its incidence.
