Too tired to work?
Article Abstract:
Many workers suffer from fatigue and undue stress because of poor work scheduling. Fatigue and stress presents a major obstacle to safety since employees suffering from them tend to become lax about safety guidelines. Companies following a 24-hour work schedule should constantly evaluate the efficiency of such a work scheme. They should pay close attention to the incidence of safety infringements and productivity.
