Incidence of death and acute myocardial infarction associated with stopping clopidogrel after acute coronary syndrome
Article Abstract:
A study to examine whether the effect of stoppage of clopidogrel could lead to death and myocardial infarction in patients recovering from acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is conducted. Results show a clustering of adverse events after stopping clopidogrel that supports the possibility of clopidogrel rebound effect.
