Exercise training and blood lipids in hyperlipidemic and normolipidemic adults: a meta-analysis of randomized, controlled trials
Article Abstract:
Aerobic exercise training seems to change blood lipids, according to research designed to establish the ability of exercise training to bring about positive changes in blood lipids. However, doubts can be raised about the clinical significance of these changes. There is not sufficient evidence to indicate that exercising more than three times a week is effective if the specific goal is to boost the blood lipid profile.
