Family cancer syndromes
Article Abstract:
Although only five percent of cancer victims have the disease because of hereditary factors, it is important for everybody to discuss their family's history of cancer to assess their own risk of the disease. Three types of family cancer syndromes include hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer, and hereditary breast-ovarian cancer syndromes 1 and 2.
