Follow these tips for a clean bill of ergonomic health
Article Abstract:
The OSHA conducts announced or unannounced inspections at work sites to determine if a company has ergonomic problems. Inspections are led by an OSHA compliance officer, who will require companies to present records of employee injuries, illnesses and worker's compensation claims due to musculoskeletal disorders. The OSHA may also instruct an outside consultant to conduct a detailed analysis of the ergonomics situation of the work site. OSHA will issue citations and penalties to any company that has been found lacking the safety measures required by the administration.
