MD returns to his homeland, still fighting for freedom
Article Abstract:
Lieutenant Colonel Laszlo Varju, MD, is part of the peacekeeping force at Taszar Air Base in Hungary and must obtain a pass to leave the premises from the base commander. The pass policy was developed because of terrorist attacks against US military forces abroad. Varju, who was born in Hungary, leaves the base to visit his mother who lives 15 miles from the base.
