Frequency of symptoms of ovarian cancer in women presenting to primary care clinics
Article Abstract:
Women with ovarian cancer frequently report symptoms before diagnosis, but distinguishing these symptoms from those that normally occur in women remains the main problem. The frequency, severity, and duration of symptoms between women with ovarian cancer and women presenting to primary care clinics are compared.

The US preventive Services Task Force in 1996 recommended that routine Papanicolaou (Pap) smear screening is unnecessary for women who have undergone hysterectomy. It is determined whether Papanicolaou (Pap) smear screening among women who have undergone hysterectomy has decreased following the recommendation.
