Genetic influences on health: Does race matter?
Article Abstract:
New studies of human genetic variation show that while genetic ancestry is highly correlated with geographic ancestry, its correlation with race is modest. Therefore, geographic ancestry and explicit genetic information are alternatives to race that appear to be more accurate predictors of genetic risk factors that influence health.

Evaluation and management of laryngopharyngeal reflux
Article Abstract:
A study aims to provide a practical approach to evaluating and managing cases of laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR). It is found that multi-channel intraluminal impedance and pH-monitoring studies are most useful in confirming LPR and assessing the magnitude of the problem.
