Rigorous weight training combined with a well-balanced, high-calorie diet is the key to gaining solid muscle mass. Contrary to the belief that training alone would suffice to achieve the desired results, proper nutrition is essential to bodybuilding. Bodybuilders are therefore advised to assess the amount of calories their body consumes for certain activities.
