The Haven is a a charity-run centre in south London, England, offering counselling and alternative therapies to breast cancer patients and their families. It was established by Sara Davenport after her daughter's nanny was diagnosed with breast cancer. Director of Services Caroline Stevensen emphasizes the importance of offering emotional and psychological support and helping women make decisions about complementary and conventional treatment. The complementary therapies available include shiatsu, yoga and reflexology.
