HMB: help or hype?
Article Abstract:
Iowa State University of Science and Technology researchers studied the anticatabolic effects of B-hydroxy-B-methylbutyrate (HMB). Results show that HMB supplementation decreased muscle proteolysis, reduced creatine kinase levels and increased lean body mass.
