Healing through education: new NMA president cites learning as potent preventive
Article Abstract:
Physicians should go to the schools and educate the public on matters concerning health, according to Nathaniel H. Murdock, newly elected pres of the National Medical Assn, a society of African American doctors. Murdock believes that education can alleviate most of society's ills, including racial differences. Citizens who received educational benefits should compensate by helping to inform others on health and nutrition.
