Article Abstract:
International boundaries can not seal out diseases but these susceptible areas are often neglected for the cities and other more populated areas. Many redeveloping countries are now in charge of their own border areas and must be alerted to health issues. International programs are needed.

Children and armed conflict
Article Abstract:
War affects children through direct injuries and through the harsh conditions they suffer as refugees. The violence of war harms children's mental and emotional health. Girls may be the victims of rape, and damage to the health of mothers indirectly affects child health.
