'I would rather have a few minutes with my baby alive than nothing at all'
Article Abstract:
A discussion is presented on the resuscitation of extremely premature babies, and it is emphasized that there is a need to develop concise guidelines to help resolve arguments between parents and doctors over the fate of the baby. In a situation where drugs can ensure that the baby is not in pain, it will be a boon to have a few minutes with the baby alive rather than nothing at all.
