Assessing the impact of a comprehensive sexually transmitted disease curriculum on learning outcomes

A study seeks to assess the impact of a curriculum designed to improve third-year medical studentsE knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases (STD), measured by STD-related items from the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) subject examination and by a locally developed STD test. The curriculum for STD produced significant improvement in third-year medical studentsE knowledge of such diseases.

The development of a computer-assisted curriculum in reproductive endocrinology and infertility for residents
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the features of an effective computer-based residency curriculum in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. It was found that although computer-based learning had certain benefits such as consistency, and the ability to develop problem-solving skills for life-long learning, its validity as a teaching tool needs further appraisal.
