Ichthyosis
Article Abstract:
Ichthyosis is continual and widespread scaling of the skin and there are several forms of inherited ichthyosis, some of which are severe rate conditions, while other are more common and milder. Ichthyosis vulgaris is the most common form of inherited ichthyosis and other forms include x-linked recessive ichthyosis, non-bullous ichthyosiform erythroderma and harlequin ichthyosis.

The legal and clinical implications of crushing tablet medication
Article Abstract:
It has recently been estimated that 75 per cent of all older patients will fail to comply with their medication regimes at some point during their hospital stay. Crushing tablets or opening capsules in order to assist a patient with swallowing difficulties appears to be a widespread activity.

How to maintain optimal glycaemic-control in diabetes
Article Abstract:
The importance of good glycaemic control in diabetes is mentioned. A proper control is required to prevent the development of serious micro and macrovascular complications, which impair qualiy of life and impose a heavy burden on health care systems.
