Impact of the recent randomized trials on the use of progesterone to prevent preterm birth: A 2005 follow-up survey
Article Abstract:
A follow-up survey in 2005 determines whether attitudes regarding the use of progesterone to prevent preterm birth have changed since a previous survey conducted in 2003. Although the use of progesterone to prevent preterm birth (PTB) is seen to have significantly increased since 2003, a substantial number of nonusers are identified, having higher levels of concerns compared to nonusers in the 2003 survey, their main concern being the need for more data on the procedure.

Pregnancy outcomes after treatment for fibromyomata: uterine artery embolization versus laparoscopic myomectomy
Article Abstract:
The pregnancy outcomes in women with fibromyomata, treated by uterine artery embolization, were compared to the results in women treated with laparoscopic myomectomy. There exists an increased risk of preterm delivery and malpresentation for pregnant women treated by uterine artery embolization.
