Improving the care of dying patients in the community
Article Abstract:
Psychological, physical, and spiritual caring for dying patients, improving quality of life in terminally ill patients, assessment and treatment of pain and other problem, and providing them with the opportunity to experience good death is extremely challenging for nursing professionals. Macmillan Gold Standards Framework provides a better quality of palliative care for such patients improves staff morale and patient satisfaction and reduces hospital and hospice occupancy.

Do you judge your patients?
Article Abstract:
The nurses are asked whether they judge their patients, and if so how will they do it and do they really provide non-judgemental care to their patients. No one likes to admit their prejudices or preconceptions but accepting their existence offers the best chance of providing non-judgemental care.
